I agree with you that this class was unique. I thought it was very eye opening and has created me to look more into our world. Dr. Wachanga’s examples and articles he had us read really brought me into what is really happening to our world. I can’t say I stay with the news in our world today, and it is sad that I learned Osama died through Facebook. But after thinking about it, learning about how Osama died through Facebook made me realize how big social media is in our world today.

I agree that this class was a great learning experiences. I enjoyed the talks about ethics, learning about Ushahidi, and all the articles read for class. I learned a lot and have opened my eyes to see what really is happening in our world today!

This is a great set of rules for any sort of social media use if you really want to get a point across. I believe 2-4 are great and they bank off of each other. Without a meaningful response or your users able to respond, then you can not go on and keep talking or what is the real point? Otherwise you are just putting your ideas up and that is it, with no relative feedback. #3 is great because a lot of people are using random blogs nowadays and no one can find their information so it becomes pointless; know what you are using so you can stay relevant. And 34 is obvious, know your audience and blog and talk about those subjects, that’s why they came to your blog or site.

The research he did was interesting and the results he got seemed to be completely opposite of what he expected. I would this to make my research and the paper much more difficult. If the research I would have gotten back for my research paper once I had an idea and outline I would have had to scrap it and start all over.

I found it the exact same way that the statments made by Sasha had been far to bold. The reason she thought she could act like that was to make her stealing reasonable to herself. But in fact she got caught red handed.

I agree the PSA was by far the best assignment, I wish we could have done it on our own topic. I felt it could have been a much better project being able to do something we are passionate about.

I agree that I definitely thought that the PSA was a pretty good assignment. It’s really interesting doing something really different for class. I love telling people “Oh ya, I’m blogging or making a PSA for class” People are jealous.

I also believe that my favorite assignment was our PSA video assignment. I found it to be a great time. The music we mixed suited the video really well and the assignment was awesome.

Well I guess we had different impressions of the speakers, but that’s all right. I was more interested in what Lenard had to say, but that’s fine that you found the Linkekin presentation more interesting. Maybe it was the fact that Felten went second that made her a little less interesting for me.
